Catalonia, a premium destination for the Australian traveler

The Catalan Tourist Board wanted to consolidate its presence in the Australian market. The challenge was clear: to showcase Catalonia as a premium, diverse, and cultural tourist destination, capable of attracting an Australian traveler with high purchasing power and eager to discover something beyond the city of Barcelona.
At UNIC by Laia, we assisted the Catalan Tourist Board in this strategic positioning in Australia. We designed a communication plan to achieve visibility in Australian media, creating a press kit and various press releases aimed at this market. We also participated in international tourism fairs, where we presented Catalonia as a sophisticated destination full of unique experiences. The entire project was developed with a narrative designed to empathize with the mindset of the Australian traveler, reinforcing the image of Catalonia as a cultural, authentic, and high-level destination.
